It has a very hip California vibe throughout the place and the service was outstanding. Ms. Destiny was impeccable in her Customer Service delivery and handed everything beautifully! You must come back to shop and enjoy the restaurant on the other side!

As a neighbor, I always liked the place. The restaurant has great food, even though the service is pretentious and often simply below standard for a restaurant of this price class. The coffee shop is a nice addition and provides good baked products. However, the coffee shop is sadly on a steep downward journey: staff is turning around quickly, rarely ever seeing the same person working there, coffee quality has gone down, and lastly pricing has become simply ridiculous: They used to sell a dozen bagels (which are great) for ~$30, which went to $36 a few month ago and are not going for $48. I understand the concept of inflation and the need to increase prices. But a 50%+ cost increase in a year or so is just pure greed. I will avoid the place going forward and suggest you do too.

First off if you are in the mood for a good everything bagel and chive shmear - this place is great On the coffee I think y’all launched a new menu recently and I’ve ordered the vanilla cream cold brew maybe 5 times in the last few weeks the first time I had it was so good and every other time I’ve had it it has been completely different - sometimes there is no vanilla at all, sometimes it’s in the foam , sometimes it’s not. Please give everyone a demo of how to make this drink so it delicious every-time I get it - thank you. I ordered one this morning and risked getting a medium hoping it would be delicious and this one tasted the most strange - also she asked me when I ordered if I wanted the regular or the strawberry or blue cold foam which I had never been asked before - it said in the menu it’s a vanilla honey ?

Akira was a fabulous batista - cheerful, gave good recommendations & made us feel welcomed. This cafe has SUCH a chic & bright atmosphere that you cannot help but to feel joy the instant you walk in. I also liked how it was connected to madnice restaurant but you're not bothered by it's close quarters. I bought the fun lighter ice cream holder too on my 2nd visit - which was the very next day - I HAD to come back!

I’ve still never been to the Mad Nice restaurant, but the cafe side is a great morning study spot! The drinks are always on-point, and the house-made bagels and cream cheeses are just 😋 I love it. WiFi & Power Outlets are always a bonus for me, too. Thanks for being a little light in the community ✨
